How does the Non Electric Water Distiller Work?

  1. Water is heated in the Stainless Steel Boiler to 212 Fahrenheit (° F) killing microbes such as Bacteria, Cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia, etc.) and Viruses that may be present in the source water.

  2. Steam rises leaving behind dead microbes, dissolved solids, salts, heavy metals and other contaminants which may be in the source water.

  3. Low boiling point light gases are discharged through the gaseous vent.

  4. Steam is condensed in the three level Stainless Steel tray assembly.

  5. Purified and distilled water is captured in the collection cup assembly.

  6. The 100% Steam Distilled Water flows through the collection tube into the 3.2 quart stainless steel collection and storage container which is included.

This Non Electric Water Purifier from Natural Solutions uses the most effective method of water purification: Distillation. Water is boiled, killing bacteria and viruses, then vaporised to separate out minerals, lead, bacteria, nitrates, turbidity, sodium (salt) and a host of other contaminants. This distiller eliminates the cost and inconvenience of buying bottled water especially in situation where none is available and is an excellent way of getting purified water in emergency situations such as natural disasters and for survivalist.

How to make a water distiller survival?
    1. Gather your supplies: a large pot, a smaller pot that fits inside the larger pot, a lid for the large pot, a length of copper tubing, ice, a bowl and food-safe water.
    2. Place the smaller pot into the larger pot.
    3. Place the copper tubing into the bottom of the smaller pot, making sure the end of the tubing sits just above the bottom.
    4. Surround the smaller pot with ice, making sure to not cover the copper tubing.
    5. Place the lid on the larger pot and place it over a heat source (ideally an outdoor campfire).
    6. Bring the water to a boil. When the water is boiling, the steam will be forced up through the copper tubing and out the other end.
    7. Let the steam cool and collect it in the bowl. This is now distilled water.
    8. Use the distilled water for whatever purpose you need it for.

How does a water distiller work?
    • A water distiller works by first boiling water, resulting in the steam that contains the impurities rising and condensing on a cool surface. This condensed steam is then collected as pure water. This separated, distilled water is free of contaminants and minerals.

How to make distilled water without electricity?
      • You can make distilled water without electricity by boiling the water and condensing the steam into a separate container. The steam is free of most contaminants, so it can be collected and cooled, turning the steam back into liquid form. This process is often called "distilling" and is one of the oldest methods of purifying water.
