The MOST Common Question Asked After Purchase!

Q: Do I need to change both collector pads every month?

A: Yes and NO! Only if someone in the home smokes on a regular basis and in the winter time should you have to change both pads. The high efficiency of EnviroSept is very effective in capturing the sub-micron cigarette smoke, which is loaded with tar and nicotine, causing the pads to become very sticky. It is suggested that in the Winter Time, when you use your furnace for heat, you change BOTH pads. Otherwise, you can change only one pad by rotating them. You throw away the first pad in front where the air enters (which is the dirtiest), as it loads with the large dust as well as the smaller particles. Then shake the fine particles from the second back pad outside and move it to the front, replacing it with a new clean pad.

Q: I have a unit that looks like yours but it says ESSA or PowerSept. Will your replacement filters work in my ESSA or PowerSept unit?

A: Yes, our filters will work in old ESSA and the obsolete PowerSept units but we can not guarantee that the unit will work as efficient as a true Envirosept! (Please Note: Replacement pads for the Envirosept WILL NOT WORK in the Dynamic Furnace Air Filter!)
