Crystal Quest® whole home water treatment system offers your family safer, softer, cleaner, better tasting water. It removes impurities that can stain your sinks, showers and tubs, spot your glassware, ruin your clothes, corrode your plumbing and appliances and offend your taste buds. (We always recommend that a licensed plumber install these products to make sure they are installed properly and to keep from voiding the warranty.)

CRYSTAL QUEST® Whole House Water Filter Systems are engineered for maximum filtration and maximum performance with minimum maintenance. They deliver trouble free operation for many years. It is the most advanced and effective whole house water filters in the market for the following reasons:

Stage 1, water travels through a 5 Micron 20" sediment cartridge (CQE-RC-04015) that removes sediment, silt, sand and dirt. Also extends the life of and water filters, and prevents damage to control valves or pumps.
Stage 2, 3 and 4, water travels through a 1, 1.5 or 2.0 cubic foot media tank with Multi Media consisting of a mixture of copper and zinc KDF-55D®, KDF-85D® and through a bed of GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) which removes hundreds of contaminates which may be in the water.
Stage 5, water travels through a 5 Micron 20" solid carbon block cartridge (CQE-RC-04014) for a final conditioning of the water and removing any remaining contaminates and VOC's which may be in the water.

CRYSTAL QUEST® Whole House water filters are fully shipped with filtration media already in the tank. WE DO NOT ship filtration media separately for our customers to pour in. The system connects to the main line of your home and filters all the incoming water to it. They are Shipped complete and ready to be plumbed in. They are available either with MANUAL or AUTOMATIC back washing! Replacing the filtration media is easy and simple and you can purchase it right here..

In stage 1, Water flows through a 20" sediment filter cartridge that removes sediment, silt, sand and dirt. Also to extend the life of water softener, water filters, and prevent damage to control valves or pumps.
In stages 2 and 3, Water flows through a bed of media made of a special high-purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals - copper and zinc KDF-55D ®, and KDF-85D ® . KDF is a major advancement in water treatment technology that works on the electro-chemical and spontaneous-oxidation-reduction (REDOX) principles. Chlorine is instantaneously and almost inexhaustibly oxidized.
In stage 4, Water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzine) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water, bad taste, and odors from your drinking water.
In stage 5, Water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.
Riser style 1" internal flow distributor.
