The APC2000E provides you a cool breeze but it WILL NOT cool the ambient temperature of a room. It should ONLY be used for a personal direct cooling breeze (blowing on you) and/or as a supplement to other air conditioning.

The APC2000E, even though it produces chilled air, is designed as a personal cooler and is NOT intended to lower the overall ambient temperature in your room. This is ONLY a 1,000 btu Air Cooler Conditioner with dehumidifying (25 pints per day) capabilities compared to room air conditioners that start out at 7,500 btu.

The APC2000E uses a standard household outlet and features multiple fan speeds, programmable timer, LED screen, easy-to-clean membrane switch electronic controls, dehumification function, auto open air louvers, and convenient fold out ergonomic handle for easy portability for multiple room use and NO VENT and NO EXHAUST HOSE!

The APC2000E is one step better than an AIR COOLER (Swamp Cooler) and used by people who can not use air coolers because of the humidity level. Do not expect it to cool a room or area. It is for PERSONAL COOLING ONLY!!

The APC2000E, like any air conditioner, produces heat out the back of the unit. Since there is NO VENT it is recommended that you place this unit so the warm air coming out from the back of it is going out into the rooms open space.
