Exhaust Hose Installation PLEASE NOTE: All Portable Air Conditioners REQUIRE that the supplied Ventilation Exhaust Hose be used. This exhausts the HEAT generated by the AC unit out from the air conditioner to the outside. For units with Heaters, the Ventilation Hose exhausts the cold air to the outside when using Heat function. ALL air conditioners produce hot air and this hot air MUST be removed and NOT put back in the air that is being cooled. To do so would be defeating the purpose of the air conditioner.
